The G major scale has only one black note - the F#.
How To Play It...
To play this scale in the right hand:
- Thumb on G
- Finger #2 on A
- Finger #3 on B
- - bring your thumb under your third finger -
- thumb on C
- Finger #2 on D
- Finger #3 on E
- Finger#4 on F# (black note)
- Finger #5 (pinky) on G
And for the left hand, you can play this:
- Finger #5 (pinky) on G
- Finger #4 on A
- Finger #3 on B
- Finger #2 on C
- thumb on D
- - bring your third finger over your thumb -
- Finger #3 on E
- Finger #2 on F#
- Finger #1 on G
