The Best Yamaha Keyboard

The best digital piano keyboard I have come across, at the cheapest price, is the Yamaha P85.

You can buy them at online music retailers like bonnersmusic.co.uk in the UK or musiciansfriend.com (US) for as low as $599.00.

I think that it's great value for the price. It is the cheapest, fully weighted keyboard on the market, that I have seen.

It has a very good quality piano sound and is more than adequate for a beginner. It doesn't have all the fancy effects and gadgets that you might find on more expensive keyboards - but you don't really need these, especially at the beginning.

I would recommend buying a yamaha keyboard stand and the three pedal unit that attaches to it.

So, if you're a beginning pianist looking for something at a reasonable price, I would highly recommend the P85.

If you'd like to have a look at another one for comparison, the Casio portable keyboard PX130, is also good for beginners.
