A Minor Scale
The A minor scale is probably the easiest 'minor' scale to play, with only one black note - the G sharp.
You'll notice how this scale, like all the minor scales, sound very different to the major scales.

How To Play It...
This scale is played with the right hand, like this:
- Thumb on A
- Finger #2 on B
- Finger #3 on C
- - bring your thumb under your third finger -
- thumb on D
- Finger #2 on E
- Finger #3 on F
- Finger#4 on G#
- Finger #5 (pinky) on A
And the left hand piano scale fingering:
- Finger #5 (pinky) on A
- Finger #4 on B
- Finger #3 on C
- Finger #2 on D
- thumb on E
- - bring your third finger over your thumb -
- Finger #3 on F
- Finger #2 on G#
- Finger #1 on A
